After announcing months ago that they would be reuniting to write, record, and play shows again, hard rock band Staple is ready to release a brand new song. Frontman Darin Keim announced last night that this Saturday, May 23rd, would mark the streaming of a new song, entitled "Eager Hearts"...

"We are pleased to announce that a new song will be launched each Saturday for the next three weeks. "Eager Hearts" will be posted this Saturday, May 23rd, at precisely 12:01 AM. We ask that you, and your loved ones, your enemies, and all of your pets play this song repeatedly throughout the day, and forevermore. We are extremely excited to finally release some new music, and we want to make sure to give props and a big thanks to Grant Beachy at Electric Angel Studios (former drummer) for his excellent work recording, mixing, and producing on it. Stay tuned, you guys. I know a lot of you have been asking questions about the current line-up, what our plans are for the future, and if you can expect new music. I'll have a full blog shortly on all of the above, and we also plan on tweeking the myspace set-up some more. God bless!
